Decom North Sea is seeking a CEO (part-time) to front the organisation, lead the team, and provide vision, drive and credibility with an entrepreneurial flair.
The ideal candidate will have extensive decommissioning experience and knowledge, and be well connected across the industry. A confident public speaker, Decom North Sea seeks someone who can effectively articulate the organisational viewpoint in both proactive and reactive PR.
The CEO will have a rounded understanding of the sector, and be comfortable discussing decommissioning at a high level with key bodies and operators, whilst being mindful of the organisation’s duty to represent and benefit its membership.
They will work with the team, Board of Directors, Decommissioning Leadership Group, and wider membership, to shape the strategic direction of the organisation. Although for the most part this is a high level, strategic role, being comfortable getting involved with the team on a practical level when extra hands are needed is central to the organisation’s team ethos.
The role is flexible for the right candidate, and will suit someone looking for a senior level part-time commitment.
