This course provides an introduction to Offshore Wind.

Following the successful development of a suite of “Introduction to” training courses, EEEGR and Lowestoft College are pleased to announce scheduled dates for the “Intro to Oil and Gas” and “Intro to Offshore Wind” courses:

Who should attend: These courses offer an introduction to various sectors within the energy industry and provide an excellent foundation for new entrants to the industry and non-technical personnel who need to have an overview of the sector to support their job role.

The objective of this course is to introduce key elements of the UK Energy Industry to attendees and to provide basic detail against the following headings:

Why the Offshore Wind Industry is needed

  • How it is organised and controlled
  • Technical detail
  • Progress to-date
  • The future of the industry.

Spaces are charged at £150 + VAT per delegate which includes lunch.

For larger groups, we can arrange for the courses to be delivered in house as required. For more details regarding this or the courses in general, please contact Charlotte Upcraft via charlotte.upcraft@eeegr.com or by phone on 01493 412199.
